Previously Roman played for the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns San Diego Chargers, and won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2003, Roman was honored with the Vince Lombardi Champion for community service in his hometown of Washington D.C. Roman supports many worthy causes including the United Way and Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Roman played college football at the University of Louisville, lettering in football and track and field. In 2006 The University of Louisville, placed his No. 72 jersey in the school's Ring of Fame.
