The Washington Redskins announced today that they have finalized the dates and times of their 2013 preseason schedule. Opening their preseason on the road against the Tennessee Titans at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 8, they then host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday August 19 at 8:00 p.m., host the Buffalo Bills at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday August 24 and finally travel to Tampa Bay to play the Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday August 29. The game against the Steelers will be nationally televised on ESPN. All other games will be aired by NBC/CSN.
With quarterback Robert Griffin, III doing so well in his rehab, it’s no surprise that they have at least one nationally televised game.
The regular season schedule for all teams should be announced by the NFL tomorrow night (Thursday) at 8:00 p.m. For 2013, the will play their division opponents (Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants) plus the Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders.
