Sports Journey's Literacy Bowl Presented by Coca-Cola (April 11th)

Sports Journey Media is hosting its’ First Annual “Literacy Bowl” Presented by Coca-Cola.

The event will be held at Virginia Academy in Ashburn, VA on April 11, 2014. The purpose of this public event is to raise awareness for underprivileged and/or abused children in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area.

We will be collecting books and donating them to the Childhelp Alice C. Tyler Village, which is a great cause. The Village is a non-profit organization that provides care for children with emotional and behavioral issues – caused sometimes by abuse and neglect or by psychiatric and neuro-developmental disorders – that prevent them from being successful in the community. While in the care of the organization, these children are empowered to overcome obstacles and move forward in their lives to be reintergrated back into nurturing homes.

Joining us host this fun filled event will be several professional athletes. The athletes will join our sponsors in competitive games and there will be food samplings from amongst the finest restaurants in Loudoun County, VA.
