The Washington Commanders are gearing up for the team’s 2024 Training Camp, which will again be held at the OrthoVirginia Training Center at Commanders Park in Ashburn, Virginia. Training Camp will feature five open practices available to all fans on July 28-29, August 2, 4, and 6, starting at 9 a.m. EST. Additionally, the team announced that season ticket members in select tiers will have access to two exclusive open practices on July 30 and August 1.
The team also announced several activities that will be featured for those in attendance this summer.
Commanders Camp will kick off with the NFL’s “Back Together Weekend” on July 28, featuring family-friendly activities, including a Commanders Kids Zone, appearances by Washington Legends, Commanders mascot Major Tuddy, and other giveaways. Military Appreciation Day will honor local military members and their families on July 29 with special activities and player interactions.
On August 4, Kids Day will be celebrated with youth football teams from DC, Maryland, and Virginia enjoying the Commanders Foundation Kids Zone. The “Community Corner” will also provide local nonprofits with an exclusive camp experience throughout the training period.
Washington will look to build on last year’s Camp energy, which saw massive fan turnout, with the addition of fan engagement and community activities, as well as stadium bleachers constructed along the sidelines of the practice field.
