The New Orleans Saints continued to struggle on Thursday, suffering a disappointing 33-10 loss to the Denver Broncos, marking their fifth consecutive defeat. Quarterback Spencer Rattler faced heavy pressure throughout the game, struggling to find a rhythm and connection with his receivers. Rattler would finish the game 25/35 for 174 yards. The running game was virtually nonexistent. Alvin Kamara, expected to be a focal point, was held to a mere 10 yards rushing, making it difficult for the Saints to establish offensive momentum.
On the other side of the ball, the Saints’ defense, which had shown flashes of brilliance earlier in the season, appeared to be unraveling. With their playoff hopes dwindling, the Saints must regroup and reassess their strategy. Head coach Dennis Allen faces mounting pressure as he seeks to address the team’s deficiencies. The next few weeks will be critical for New Orleans as they try to halt this five-game slide and regain their footing in a competitive NFC South.
