Defense Shines As Falcons Hold Off Raiders 15-9

The Atlanta Falcons put on a defensive clinic in their 15-9 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night. In a hard-fought battle, it was the Falcons’ defense that made the difference, keeping the Raiders’ offense in check throughout the game.

Despite a sluggish offensive, Atlanta’s defense and special teams were relentless, forcing critical turnovers and stopping the Raiders’ drives when it mattered most. The win improves the Falcons record to 7-7 and a game behind the division-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They will need to win out and hope the Buccaneers slip up and lose a game to have a shot at the playoffs.
