The much improved Washington Wizards, led by the scorching hot Bradley Beal (averaging 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.7 assists in his last six games) take on the Detroit Pistons for the fourth and final time this year. The Pistons have defeated the Wizards the last five outings so tonight’s match-up should be a spirited affair.

Game Notes:

– The Wizards have won six straight games versus teams that were .500 or better for the first time since February-March of 1976.

– Since January 7th, the Wizards are 10-2 at home with impressive victories over eight teams that would qualify for the playoffs if the season ended today. During that time frame, the Wizards are averaging 101.1 points per game, while shooting .478 from the field. They are holding their opponents to 92.9 points per game on .427 shooting from the field.
