Redskins Cheerleaders Explosion of Spirit

Ashburn, Va – The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders will host their annual Spirit Explosion performance at halftime during the Redskins’ home opener versus the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday, September 14. Kickoff for that game  is set for 1 p.m.

All performers aged 9-22 are invited to participate in the Spirit Explosion halftime performance. Participants will learn the routine on Saturday, September 13 at FedExField and perform the next day in front of 80,000 fans.

Choreography is taught by Stephanie Jojokian, Director and Choreographer for the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, and rehearsed with the entire cheerleading squad.

Each year, between 200-250 performers come together to perform in the Spirit Explosion. The group is composed of middle school, high school and college cheer and dance teams. Individuals or local studios are welcome.
