Ashburn, Va. — The Washington Redskins have announced a partnership with Uber to enhance the game day experience for fans.

Uber will become the team’s official ride-sharing partner and, beginning on Sept. 18, will host a designated Uber Pick-Up/Drop-Off Zone for all home games. This service will offer fans the opportunity to get in and out of games more easily. It could also alleviate some of the traffic issues and promote alternative transportation options.

The designated Uber Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zone is a ride-share lot located at the Prince George’s County Sports Complex, adjacent to the stadium’s parking lots.

  • The Uber Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zone will open for drop-offs four hours prior to kickoff. When requesting a ride to the stadium, fans should enter the following address as their destination:

Prince George’s County Sports & Learning Complex
8001 Sheriff Rd.
Hyattsville Md. 20785.

  • Following games, fans can enter the Uber Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zone, order an Uber and meet their driver in a specified colored zone for better access and convenience. Fans will only be able to request a pickup at the Uber Pick-Up & Drop-Off Zone.

“Continuing to improve the game day experience is paramount and we see Uber’s ride-sharing service playing an important role with us,” Terry Bateman, Executive Vice President of the Redskins said. “We are excited to partner together to better serve our fans.”

Uber’s ride-sharing functionality will be integrated into the official mobile app of the Washington Redskins, available in Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
