The Washington Redskins announced that they have made the following roster moves.

The Redskins signed free agent defensive lineman JoJo Wicker. The team also waived defensive back Darius Hillary.

Wicker, 22, was recently playing for the Detroit Lions who released the former Arizona State standout. Wicker went undrafted before signing with the Lions as an undrafted free agent.

Listed at 6’2″ and 295-pounds, Wicker will have a lot of work to show what he can do with the Redskins having their final preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens this upcoming Thursday. He could be a candidate for the practice squad if can show enough to coaches over the next week.

Hillary, 25, had brief stints with the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders before joining the Redskins this preseason. The team decided to part ways with the former 2016 undrafted free agent who played his college ball at Wisconsin.
