The Washington Redskins face the Houston Texans on Sunday in their fifth home game of the season. Washington is 3-2 on their home FedEx Field grass this season. The Redskins three home wins have come against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3, the Carolina Panthers in Week 6, and a Week 7 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Their two home losses have come against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2 and two weeks ago in an embarrassing Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Redskins enter the game with a record of 6-3 after last Sunday’s Week 10 road win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The AFC South-leading Texans come into the Week 11 contest with a 6-3 record. Houston is riding a league-best six-game winning streak.

Washington will look to improve their record to 7-3 which would give them their best start to a season through 10 games since posting a 7-3 record through 10 games in 1996.

Sunday’s contest will be the Redskins second AFC matchup of the season.

A win would continue the Redskins first-place standing over the NFC East division which they have led outright over the past six weeks The Redskins currently hold a firm two-game lead over the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles within the division.

In the last meeting between Washington and Houston on Sept. 7, 2014, the Texans defeated the Redskins 17-6.
