The Washington Redskins have released the dates and times of several events for this year’s training camp which will again take place at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center in Richmond, Virginia. There will be special days at camp, team-hosted off-site events and events hosted by the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation.

Admission to camp is free, but a Redskins fan pass/e-ticket is required for entry

The several themed days during camp include:

  • July 27 Military Appreciation Day Presented by GEICO Military
  • 3 Fan Appreciation Day
  • 4 Social Media Day Presented by NBC Sports Washington
  • 6 Kids Day
  • 10 Youth Football Day

Some of the off-site events this year include:

  • July 23 River City Golf Classic at Magnolia Green Golf Club
  • July 25 Training Camp Kickoff at The Veil Brewing Company
  • July 30 Celebration in the End Zone 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Much of the draw for fans to attend training camp is the opportunity to meet Redskins players, old and new. Alumni participate in the Redskins Showcase (see the team’s website) and many times current players attending camp will spend time signing autographs between and after practices and walkthroughs.

In advance of this year’s session is the sixth annual River City Golf Classic which will be held Tuesday, July 23. Fans will have the opportunity to play with Redskins alumni, coaches and personnel like Head Coach Jay Gruden, President Bruce Allen and Larry Michael, Voice of the Washington Redskins. Information on this can be found at www.RiverCityClassic.com.

Military Appreciation Day will be Saturday, July 27. This is a day when military members can gain access to a special viewing area by showing a military ID. Fans who sign up for Redskins Salute on-site will receive a gift (while supplies last). More info can be found at www.RedskinsSalute.com.

The “Celebration in the End Zone” (Tuesday, July 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) activity, which supports year-round youth programs at the training facility, will take place in the facility’s second-floor event space. It is open to the public and is $50 per person (this includes food and non-alcohol beverages). Fans will be able to mingle with Redskins front office executives, coaches and Redskins alumni; and bid in a silent auction (signed Redskins memorabilia, trips, jewelry, sports experiences, etc.). More information can be found at www.eventsatbswrtc.com/celebration-in-the-end-zone.

Other information like season ticket-holders’ special opportunities, the Kids Day at Camp (Tuesday, Aug. 6), the third annual Youth Football Day (Saturday, Aug. 10) and the annual Gatorade Junior Training Camp event (Saturday, Aug. 10) can also be found at www.Redskins.com/trainingcamp.

Local radio stations ESPN 950 AM, 99.5 FM, 102.7 FM and 1240 AM will provide schedules, player interviews, press conferences, etc. and Radio One will be on the grounds again broadcasting live.

There are travel packages with local hotels in a few of the downtown Richmond hotels including the Omni Richmond Hotel and the Graduate Richmond as well as special offers and discounts to restaurants and local attractions.

The e-tickets for admission can be obtained at https://offer.fevo.com/2019-redskins-training-camp-aaec024. Additionally, fans can manage event tickets through the Redskins mobile app, which includes an interactive event map.
