The NFL is back in full swing and fans are looking to either continue their fantasy team’s good start or rebound with a Week 2 win. The first week of the NFL season is always the toughest to call though and this second one isn’t that much easier.

That said, to follow are two Redskins that fantasy owners should start Sunday against their NFC Division foe, the Dallas Cowboys:

1). WR Terry McLaurin

McLaurin’s production in his first NFL start should be very attractive with the rookie hauling in five of seven targets for 125 yards and a touchdown. This performance netted him 18.5 fantasy points in Washington’s 32-27 loss last Sunday to the Philadelphia Eagles. The highlight of his day was the touchdown: a 69-yard bomb from QB Case Keenum that put the Redskins up 17-0 early in the second quarter.

The Cowboys had themselves an excellent day in Week 1 against the New York Giants, especially in the passing game. However, Washington has a more talented receiving corps. McLaurin’s versatility, along with his big-play ability, makes him a must-start against the Cowboys at FedEx Field.

2). RB Adrian Peterson

Former starting RB Derrius Guice (knee) is on IR after getting hurt against Philly. But Redskins coach Jay Gruden had already said Wednesday that veteran Adrian Peterson would get the nod against Dallas. Look for the Burgundy and Gold to establish a healthy dose of the run to combat a strong Cowboys defensive line. Peterson was a healthy scratch in against the Eagles but Washington will ride the future Hall-of-Famer until Guice is healthy again.
