Jordan McRae spent most of his time between the Washington Wizards and Capital City Go-Go last season on a two-way contract. Before the season wrapped up, the Wizards signed McRae to a standard NFL contract for the 2019-20 season.  Now that Jordan is a permanent member of the team, he is looking for ways to give back and settle into the D.C. community.

On Saturday, he held his first back-to-school giveaway for 50 families in need at the Southeast Family Center in conjunction with Catholic Charities. McRae signed autographs, distributed T-shirts, and provided school supplies to the participating children.

We spoke with McRae in more detail about the event.
