The Washington Football Team announced today that they have signed Kelvin Harmon to the practice squad.

Harmon needs no introduction as he was the team’s sixth-round draft pick in the 2019 draft out of North Carolina State University.

During his rookie campaign, Harmon, 23, competed in all 16 games and pulled in 30 receptions for 365 yards.

The 6’2″ 215 lb wideout suffered an ACL injury in June of 2020 and was placed on the team’s non-football injury list at the start of training camp in August. In September of 2020, he was moved to the reserve/non-football injury list and would be released on August 15, 2021.

Washington is looking for more production from their WR room as the only consistent threat has been third-year star Terry McLaurin. At one point, Harmon and McLaurin were considered by many to be the tandem of the future for Washington.
