The Washington Commanders will travel across the country this weekend for their second straight road contest. Unlike last weekend in New England against the dreadful Patriots, the Commanders will face a playoff-caliber team in the Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. The game marks the sixth road contest for the Commanders. Washington (4-5) has had success this season away from DC where they sport a 3-2 record with wins over the Denver Broncos (Week 2), Atlanta Falcons (Week 6), and the Patriots (Week 9).

A win would provide a major boost for Washington’s playoff aspirations. Defeating the Seahawks would move the team’s record to .500 on the season at 5-5. A loss would be a crippling blow to the franchise trying to make the postseason for the first time since the 2020 campaign.

The Seahawks come into the game with a record of 5-3 but were thoroughly defeated last week by the Baltimore Ravens in ‘Charm City’ 37-3.

The Commanders last week defeated New England 20-17. Quarterback Sam Howell threw for 325 yards and a touchdown for his second straight 300+ yard outing.

The Commanders have a 7-1 record on the road in Seattle and are 13-6 all-time against the Seahawks. The team’s last played back on November 29, 2021, at FedEx Field. A game Washington won 17-15. In fact, Washington has won the last four games against the Seahawks in Seattle.

Here is a look at how both teams ‘Stats Stack Up‘ against each other heading into Week 10 of the NFL season.
