Drag Race Bracket Bonanza Announces Summit Racing Return

The 2026 drag racing season is already gaining momentum, and Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB) has delivered a major boost for fans. The free-to-play bracket competition confirmed that Summit Racing Equipment will return as the official plaque sponsor for all 20 NHRA national events this season, reinforcing a partnership that continues to elevate fan engagement across the sport.

The renewed agreement ensures that DRBB competitors will once again battle for some of the most sought-after memorabilia in drag racing. Each event will feature custom plaques awarded to the overall winner as well as the top finishers in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle. Signed by event winners, the plaques have quickly become prized collectibles among the game’s growing player base.

A Methodical Climb Toward Fan Engagement

Beyond plaques, the expanded partnership dramatically increases the prize pool for participants. Throughout the 2026 campaign, Summit Racing Equipment gift certificates will be distributed to winners of each national event, The Majors Series, the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals, the U.S. Nationals, and the overall season standings. In total, more than 100 players are expected to receive gift certificates before the season concludes.

“Summit Racing Equipment was one of the first sponsors to support Drag Race Bracket Bonanza and seeing this program continue and grow is awesome,” said Elon Werner, Drag Race Bracket Bonanza creator. “The enthusiasm the thousands of players as well as all the NHRA drivers have shown for DRBB is very cool. Summit Racing Equipment is more than race car parts and I am so happy fans will get the chance to shop with one of the coolest companies supporting racers on and off the track.”

The Norwalk event will serve as a centerpiece of the collaboration. During the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals, DRBB platforms — including the website and fan emails — will prominently feature Summit branding and links. Prize distribution at that event includes gift certificates totaling $150 for the overall winner, with additional awards for the top three finishers in each professional category.

Learning the Craft Step by Step

From Summit Racing’s perspective, the decision to deepen its involvement was driven by the game’s continued growth and strong fan participation. The company sees DRBB as a natural extension of its long-standing commitment to grassroots and professional drag racing communities.

“Seeing the continued popularity and fan engagement with Drag Race Bracket Bonanza, the opportunity for Summit Racing Equipment to stay involved with the fans, just made sense,” said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Motorsports and Events Manager. “We wanted to support as many elements as possible with an emphasis around our NHRA national event in Norwalk, of course, but we are looking forward to seeing a lot of winners receive and use Summit Racing Equipment gift certificates all season.”

Additional incentives arrive with The Majors Series, which combines points from the Gatornationals, Winternationals, and U.S. Nationals. Top finishers will earn gift certificates, while the top five will also receive a custom Majors trophy designed by Katie Buttera.

From Free Game to Fan Staple

Since launching during the 2023 U.S. Nationals, Drag Race Bracket Bonanza has steadily evolved into a must-play companion for NHRA fans. The platform allows users to complete brackets across all four professional categories following qualifying, while features such as league play, text alerts, and advanced statistics have helped fuel its rapid adoption.

With Summit Racing Equipment extending its support and prize offerings expanding across the board, DRBB enters the 2026 season with significant momentum. For fans looking to test their racing instincts, the opportunity — and the rewards — have never been greater.
