The performance marked Nacua’s fifth career game with at least 160 receiving yards and a touchdown, tying Justin Jefferson as the only players to reach that mark through their first three seasons in the Super Bowl era. Nacua also recorded his 277th career reception, surpassing Michael Thomas for the most catches by any player in their first 40 career games.
This is the third Offensive Player of the Week award of Nacua’s career and his second this season. He becomes the second Rams wide receiver to win the award three times, joining Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce. Nacua is also the fourth former BYU player to earn at least three Player of the Week honors.
Defense: Al-Quadin Muhammad, EDGE, Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions EDGE Al-Quadin Muhammad was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording three sacks in the Lions’ 44–30 win over Dallas on Thursday night. His three sacks were the most by any player in the NFL in Week 14.
Muhammad is one of only two NFC defenders this season to record a three-sack game. The award marks the first Defensive Player of the Week honor of his career and makes him the third Lions player to earn a Player of the Week award this season.
He is also the first Lions defensive lineman to win Defensive Player of the Week since Aidan Hutchinson in 2023 and the first former University of Miami defensive lineman to receive the honor since Greg Rousseau in 2024.
Special Teams: Rashid Shaheed, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after a dynamic return performance in a 37–9 win at Atlanta. Shaheed returned three kicks for 148 yards, including a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown to open the second half.
His 100-yard return was the longest of the 2025 season and the longest since Week 17 of the 2024 season. This is the first Player of the Week award of Shaheed’s career, and he becomes the sixth Seahawks wide receiver to earn Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Shaheed is also the second former Weber State player to win a Player of the Week award.

The outing marked Allen’s 50th career game with both a passing and rushing touchdown, the most in NFL history. He also became the first player ever to record at least 250 passing yards, 75 rushing yards, three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in multiple career games.
This is Allen’s 18th career Player of the Week award and his third of the season. He now ties Dan Marino and Ben Roethlisberger for the fifth-most Player of the Week awards by a quarterback in league history.

Douglas became the first AFC player since 2010 to register five passes defended and an interception in a single game. The award is his third Defensive Player of the Week honor, making him the sixth Dolphins cornerback to earn the distinction.
Douglas also now holds the most Player of the Week awards by a former West Virginia defensive player, tying Marc Bulger and Tavon Austin for third overall among Mountaineer alumni.
Special Teams: Marvin Mims, WR, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after returning a 48-yard punt for a touchdown in Denver’s 24–17 win at Las Vegas. The score gave the Broncos the lead heading into halftime.
This is the third Special Teams Player of the Week award of Mims’ career, tying Brandon McManus and Wil Lutz for the third-most in franchise history. Mims now holds the most Special Teams Player of the Week awards by a Broncos punt returner all-time.
Among former Oklahoma players, Mims ranks second in Special Teams Player of the Week awards, trailing only Tress Way.
