The Washington Redskins have placed defensive end Adam Carriker, cornerback Josh Wilson and offensive lineman Maurice Hurt on the active PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list.

Wilson is recovering from left shoulder surgery, Carriker is scheduled to have a third leg surgery resulting from an injury suffered last season and Hurt is recovering from a knee operation.

In addition, the team announced today that they have waived safeties Jordan Bernstine and Devin Holland.

Bernstine, 5’11, 214 lbs., was a seventh-round draft pick (217th overall) of the Redskins in 2012. He appeared in the team’s season-opening win against the New Orleans Saints last season before being placed on the Reserve/Injured list on Sept. 10, 2012.

Holland, 6’0, 205 lbs., was originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a college free agent in July of 2011. After being waived by the team in July of 2012, he signed a Reserve/Futures contract with the Redskins this past January.

Hail.
