The Washington Redskins face the Philadelphia Eagles in their second straight primetime game. The Redskins are coming off a Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys that left them in a tie atop the NFC East division with their rival. On Monday night, the Redskins will take on the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles who last week came back in a valiant effort to defeat the New York Giants.

Washington will try to secure their fourth road win of the season and improve their overall record to 7-5.

The Eagles come into the game with a 5-6 record.

What would a win do for the Redskins from a statistical and historical standpoint?

A win would improve Washington’s all-time regular season record against Philadelphia to 86-75-5.

Redskins’ Gruden on Foster: ‘We want to find out exactly what happened’

Winning would improve the Redskins’ all-time regular season road record against Philadelphia to 42-39-2.

A victory gives the Redskins their first win at Lincoln Financial Field since Week 14 of the 2016 season.

A much-needed win would stop the Redskins two-game losing streak.

Winning improves the Redskins record against the NFC East to 3-1 giving them their best record to start a season against opponents in their division since 2012.

A ‘W’ would improve the Redskins’ 2018 record on the road to 4-2 giving them their best road record through six road games since 2008.

Finally, winning would move the Redskins’ record to 7-3 against the NFC giving them their best record against NFC opponents through 10 games since going 7-3 through 10 NFC contests in 2005.
