The Washington Redskins will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night in a must-win battle to remain in playoff contention and in control of their own destiny in winning the NFC East division. The contest will mark the Redskins sixth road game of the season. Washington is 3-2 away from FedEx Field this season. The Redskins three road wins have come against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, the New York Giants in Week 8, and a Week 10 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Redskins enter the game with a record of 6-5 after last Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles come into the Week 13 contest with a 5-6 record. The Eagles have lost two out of their last three games. They came back from 19-points behind last week to defeat the New York Giants.

A win would continue the Redskins first-place standing in the NFC East division which they have led outright or been tied over the past eight weeks. Winning would give Washington a 3-1 record in the division. It would also move the Redskins’ record to 7-3 against the NFC giving them their best record against NFC opponents through 10 games since going 7-3 through 10 NFC contests in 2005.
