There are only a select few players in the Big3 league that can still play in the NBA and one of them happens to be Joe Johnson. Iso Joe has been the most consistent player this summer in the Big3 League and is making a strong case for 2019 MVP. He’s averaged 21.6 points per game so far this season and led his team to a 5-1 record after defeating Brian Scalabrine and the winless Ball Hogs 51-34 Saturday night.

Coming off their first loss of the season last week to the defending champion Power team, the Triplets wanted to set the tone early and get back in the Win column.

It was a wire-to-wire victory for the Triplets as they were led by Iso Joe with 16 points in the first half with exiting plays including a deep four-point play to start the game. The Triplets led throughout the contest.

The second-leading scorer for the Triplets was former McDonald’s All-American, Al Jefferson. He finished with 12 points and seven rebounds and had his way in the post.

The leading scorer for the Ball Hogs was Will McDonald with 14 points and eight rebounds. The team shot poorly from the field and lacked any team chemistry.

Next week the Triplets will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to face Rashard Lewis and the 3 Headed Monsters. The Ball Hogs will take on Kenyon Martin and the Trilogy.
