It’s been all fun and games for the Washington Football Team lately. A four-game winning streak is the longest since 2015, which is also the last year they won the NFC East.

This week, it gets real as the Seattle Seahawks come to Fed Ex Field for a one o’clock kickoff Sunday. In case no one has mentioned it, this is a week the Burgundy and Gold will find out exactly how much it has grown as a team since its 1-5 start.

Who is going to provide the value picks for fantasy football leagues this week?

WR Terry McLaurin

Yes, the Seahawks will probably have their entire defensive backfield healthy for the first time since very early this year. McLaurin was held in check last week, but that will change this Sunday. Last week, the captain only had two catches, but it wasn’t from a lack of trying. His six targets were second on the team, and he was open a few times when the ball didn’t get to him. Expect that to change this Sunday.

RB’s J.D. McKissic or Peyton Barber

Two words. Usage increase. Those words are music to fantasy players’ ears. With Antonio Gibson less likely to play, the load will fall on McKissic and Barber. Handcuffing players is a risky strategy but the two combined for 23 rushes for 105 yards and four receptions on seven total targets. With Dwayne Haskins starting at QB, offensive coordinator Scott Turner will play it safe and have Haskins manage the game. That means a lot of running and swing passes out of the backfield.

Washington Defense

The secret is out now, so there’s no sneaking up on anyone, and yes, Seattle QB Russell Wilson should scare any defensive coordinator but guess what?

The former NC State and Wisconsin standout has been sacked more than anyone but Carson Wentz this year.

Guess which quarterback is third in the league in interceptions thrown?

Right again, it’s Wilson. He will get his yards and probably touchdowns Sunday, but the Washington defense will get its points too.
