NFC: Loveland, Moehrig, Rodriguez Shine
Chicago Bears rookie Colston Loveland earned NFC Offensive Player of the Week after a breakout game against the Bengals. He caught six passes for 118 yards and scored his first two career touchdowns in a 47-42 win.
Loveland’s 58-yard game-winner with 17 seconds left was the second-longest by a rookie tight end in the final two minutes or overtime since 1970. He became only the fifth rookie tight end in the Super Bowl era to post at least 100 yards and multiple touchdowns in a single game.
Carolina Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig was named NFC Defensive Player of the Week after recording five tackles, two tackles for loss, two passes defensed, and an interception in a 16-13 win at Green Bay. He became the first safety this season to reach those marks in one game and the first Panthers defensive back to win the award since 2014.
Minnesota Vikings defensive lineman Levi Drake Rodriguez earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after blocking a fourth-quarter field goal in a 27-24 victory at Detroit. The play preserved Minnesota’s lead and gave Rodriguez his first career NFL honor.
AFC: Jackson, Highsmith, Little Stand Out

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 18 of 23 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns in a 28-6 win at Miami. It marked his 12th career game with at least four touchdown passes and no interceptions — a feat only Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning have achieved more often.
Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Alex Highsmith captured AFC Defensive Player of the Week after tallying two sacks, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and a pass defensed in a 27-20 victory over Indianapolis. He was the only player in the league this season to post those numbers in one game.
Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little set an NFL record to earn AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. He nailed a 68-yard field goal in a 30-29 overtime win at Las Vegas, breaking Justin Tucker’s previous record of 66 yards from 2021.

Little also hit all three field goals and extra points, including a 48-yarder that tied the game with 16 seconds remaining.
